If you’re not tied to camping within Orlando city limits, there is some nice camping near Orlando, FL, as well, especially in Apopka. The first three on the list below are Orange County parks. Wekiwa Spring State Park is probably our favorite because it’s right on the Wekiwa River, where you’re always sure to see Manatees! Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort is also on the list. It’s a bit pricey, but super convenient if you’re going to Magic Kingdom or Epcot, as there is free transportation from the campground to all four of the Disney theme parks.
