Service Technician

Kelley Automotive Group is a busy and fast paced dealership looking for a career-orientated service technician. Applicant should have a strong working knowledge of vehicles and systems. Must have good communication skills and computer skills are required. This position offers a high earning potential for a highly skilled and motivated technician. ASE and factory certifications improve earning potential.

The preferred candidate will be knowledgeable and experienced in:
• Engine Repair
• Transmissions
• Drive Train/Axles
• Suspension/Steering
• Brakes
• Electrical
• Heating/Air Conditioning
• Engine Performance
• Used car inspection – all makes and models preferred
• ASE Master Certification is preferred
• GM SERVICE EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS!!

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Accurate vehicle diagnosis
• History of safely operating lift/alignment machines
• Good communications skills for Service Advisor/customer explanations
• Deliver consistently high-quality repairs
• Perform repairs following manufacture procedures and specifications
• Participates in on-going education for latest repair techniques
• Organized and maintains a safe work space
• Maintains consistent “on-time” performance
• Must have clean driving record
• Can provide own tools
